1. Mission Planning – This is basically discussing laying out a plan and laying it all out so you have a plan to follow rather than attempting to fly by the seat of your pants. Already in this part you can see the soldier in Jeff coming out as he compares fat burning “mission planning” to mission planning in the military. I hope you like military metaphors.

2. Stop Dieting – Jeff discusses how you are going to take the principles and make them healthy habits and completely change your lifestyle, so the information will be with you and keeping you lean & healthy all the time, rather than just going on some diet to lose weight quickly.

3. Chemical Warfare – Gotta love the military terminology that makes it all seem a lot more intense. This section is devoted to human cells and a bunch of factors that I don’t think other programs think to cover (like chemicals from a variety of sources).

4. Nutritional Firepower – This is obviously not in great detail as there’s an entire guide on nutrition, this is just the basic nutrition of the program and it’ll give you a good overview of weight management.

5. Fat Blasting Hormones – Hormones play a large part in fat burning, though most people don’t talk about them. Jeff spends almost 20 pages discussing hormones and their affect on your lifestyle.

6. Maximum Metabolism – Everyone knows that metabolism plays a large role in fat burning. People complain that other people are skinny just because they have an unfair high metabolism. But it’s not just that they were born or gifted with a high metabolism, lifestyle makes a big difference and there are a number of factors that affect metabolism. Jeff shows you how to maximize your metabolism so you can have people jealous of you.

7. Military “PT” – This section is all about different types of training, the pros and cons of each and what is actually the best type of training for fat burning. He backs it up with scientific research and proof that it actually is the best. Plus the fact that the U.S. Military actually uses it.

8. Killer Instinct – Basically, this is a section devoted to getting & keeping you motivated throughout the program so you’ll actually follow through and get the results, even when it seems impossible.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

The Good: Bodyweight & weight version of workouts, easy to follow nutrition advice, good motivation & mindset advice.

The Bad: Like any good fitness program, it’s a fairly big manual. It’s comprehensive so there’s a lot to go through, but that’s a problem with any program.

The Ugly: Unless you think Jeff isn’t good looking, I didn’t notice any ugly with this program.

Overall I have to say Combat the Fat is in my top 5 fat burning programs.

Bodybuilding is a good idea, but not just because it may result in you having the body of your dreams. Combat The Fat is comprised of 3, rather detailed, downloadable ebooks. Guide one is the secret military fitness program. Guide two is the workout workbook; and guide three is the nutrition manual.

This program uses a military approach to burning off body fat, and getting fit. The course teaches you how to wage war against unhealthy body fat, control weight management and win.  This military twist makes it real fun to read.

This is a 12 week program put together in which you workout 45 minutes a day, 3 days a week. Therefore, this is ideal for an individual with limited time to workout.

The only real negative thing I can say regarding the Jeff Anderson’s Combat The Fat is the sales letter might drive women away because of the military commander approach. However, please understand, this program is for women also. If you are a women, don’t be frightened. You will greatly benefit!

Weight management is The best way to lose weight by a steady and consistent effort to reduce the amount of calories you take in, while increasing the amount of exercise you do to burn more fat. How to loose weight – crash diets only work on a temporary basis – a huge effort on your part, that may not last as long as you want it to do.

For example, someone who hasn’t exercised for years shouldn’t rush into running miles a day or pounding the treadmill. Not only will the struggle to do so leave you feeling disheartened and demotivated, you’re also far more likely to injure yourself and set your fitness levels back further

Someone who increases the amount they exercise, but maintains the same diet and calorie intake, will almost certainly lose weight this is the right way using weight management.

No matter if you hate gyms – even light exercise, such as a short 20 minute walk, will be beneficial if done most days of the week and help you burn the fat.

Every single time you exercise more than usual, you burn calories and fat which helps your weight management.

Increase the amount of muscle in your body to control your weight management. For every extra pound of muscle you put on, your body uses around 50 extra calories a day. In a recent study, researchers found that regular weight training boosts basal metabolic rate by about 15%. This is because muscle is ‘metabolically active’ and burns more calories than other body tissue even when you’re not moving.

Although the average person burns around 30% of calories through daily activity, many sedentary people only use around 15%. Simply being aware of this fact – and taking every opportunity to ‘move’ can make quite a dramatic difference to the amount of calories you burn.

The trick is to keep the ‘keep moving’ message in mind. Write the word ‘move’ on post-it notes and put them in places you’ll notice them when you’re sitting still. Then, take every opportunity to move – here’s some ideas for burning calories:

* Tap your feet
* Swing your legs
* Drum your fingers
* Stand up and stretch
* Move your head from side to side
* Change position
* Wriggle and fidget
* Pace up and down
* Don’t use the internal phone – go in person
* Use the upstairs loo
* Park in the furthest corner of the car park
* Stand up when you’re on the phone
* Clench and release your muscles.
